Janie Osborne is freelance photojournalist and writer who explores projects about the mountain West and her home state of Montana.

 

Recent projects have focused on everything from rural high school girls basketball to remote one-room schoolhouses to destinations untouched by "Yellowstone's" limelight.

 

A member of Women Photograph, her work has been featured for 16 years by The New York Times, and also by titles such as The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal,

The Guardian, NPR, NBC, the Big Sky Journal, Travel + Leisure and others.
